Question

Weird brightness-changing boundaries are appearing

I'm using Premiere Pro v22.0 on an Asus Expertbook B1500CEPEY. And I have an NVIDIA GeForce MX330 dedicated chip as well as intel IRIS Xe onboard graphics. Recently I had several operations on cropping videos, even if not, I've applied some fade-in/fade-outs to background videos while some static text is on screen. While using and hardware-accelerated mode of the Mercury Playback engine, I'm seeing a slight change of brightness in text, when the background video is fading. And not only that, today, I was putting my endcard to fade in, on top of a cropped video and I'm seeing these darker bars on my end screen. The issue can be solved using Software Only mode, but for some reason, the software only mode is really choppy. Other than that, I can't perform a blended "offset" effect on text since both the GPU accelerated modes give me nothing but glitches for that.

What should I do?

It didn't change anything. Just changing it to Software Only fixes those aforementioned issues, but the playback is choppy throughout the time.
