What can I do with .txt file in Premiere Pro?

I found that I could import a txt file to the project panel.

But when I tried to bring it to the timeline, it didn't work.

So I thought I could import any file to the project panel whether it can be used or not, but other files like .exe couldn't be imported to the project panel.

Can somebody tell me what I can do with the .txt file format in Premiere Pro?

If you import using media browser it will not be listed under supported formats, if you select view all files it can be seen and imported but, as you have found, you can't work with it. If you need the text open in notepad and copy and paste to the Premiere text tool.
