What does this mean?

Hi,I've searched the web for an answer but I remain confused what the red box with numbers actually means, this appears in a clip on my timelineI'm guessing this is a simple one, so apologies in advance if it is a newbie question

Those numbers are showing you that the audio and video, which were once in sync, are now out of sync, and by how much.

You may have accidentally (or on purpose) displaced the audio and video from their original in sync relationship.

The video clip start timecode is 2:06 frames earlier (minus) than the audio that is associated with it, or to put it another way, the audio clip start timecode is 2:06 later (plus) than the corresponding video clip it was originally synced with.

Unless this is what you want, slip the audio or video to correct this.

Meg's correct. You can also get this if you've connected via Merge media and cut (trim) either the front or back of one of the tracks to where they both actually 'start' together. As in, you started the audio recorder, then started the video camera ... merged ... then cut off the first bit of the audio from before the camera track starts. It will now report out of sync, even though your media are synced.
