What font does Premiere use for the timecode generator?

Asking because it looks like I don't have it installed as it just shows up as a bunch of boxes when I try to use it. Seems that it could be the same font that's used in the Loudness Radar effect, because I've noticed the text on that also shows as boxes - see attached image.

Using a new iMac and never had this problem before on my old mac or my Windows laptop.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, did you ever find a solution for this timecode issue? I have the exact same problem from Premiere 2022, still there when I upgraded to 2023. I've tried every "solution" I could find online with no luck. I have to create a timecode composition in After Effects and bring it into Premiere. Timecode works fine in AE all other fonts work in Premiere, just not timecode. Apperecate any help. Thanks!

Thanks, that didn't help though.

And just to add, as per someone's suggestion on reddit I've already tried a reinstall of Adobe CC as well as the default Mac system fonts, but no dice. No other issues with fonts on this mac or any other Adobe apps.
