What's up with Vertical/Horizontal Scale for Rectangles

I'm trying to draw a couple of rectangles with uniform size. I want to manipulate their size during my video.

I can't find a good way to ensure they are exactly the same height and width. I've tried "Uniform Scale" set to true and false.

I've also tried setting the horizontal and vertical scale to the same number for both. However, they are still different sizes based on the size they started at i think.

i feel like there has to be another setting that i'm not seeing which specifies the ratio between height and width? something like that.

I appreciate any information. i've googled this and checked youtube and not many people are concerned with using shapes this way, apparently.... 😃

Are you using the Legacy Titler?
