Question

When exporting in Premier Pro - the output file name does not match seq

Hello, my Premiere Pro has recently begun assigning the output file name based on the original sequence when exporting.

Here's my workflow: I create a new sequence ending with the name v1 - exports that when a am finnished and that works out. Then I copy or duplicat the first version to make a sequence ending whith the name v2.

The problem arises when I export or send the v2 sequence to the encoder; the output name automatically defaults to v1.

It's quite frustrating!

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
