When I boot up Encore 5.5 it asks me to install quicktime. Do I need to?

I just installed the latest Windows 10 update, and now when ever I start to use Encore a window opens up asking me to install quicktime. Can it cause problems if I choose to not install quicktime? I haven't had it installed since I was using Windows 7.
