When i click on the timeline it jumps to the playhead if its out of frame

It is also the same if i press spacebar. my old version would always me to edit at the same time as listening further down the timeline, i want to then continue or check what ive just edited without it jumping to the playhead.

I want No Scroll, No follow/jump to playhead, i will now have to use 2021 rather than 2022 as it works fine on the 2021 version. ive checked all the setting i can find and there all the same. its driving me crazy.

That is correct behavior.

Guessing, you have your UI set to no scroll.

Might work better for you if you set it to Page Scroll.
