Question

When I create a remix of a melody, the waveform disappears

I can only revert the wayform if I create a new remix or add or remove 1 second of the audio track. This issue occurs in all versions of Premiere since 2024. It’s time to fix this, at least in the 2027 version.😉

Thanks for the report. I use Remix every day and have not run into this myself, so it may be specific to certain projects or media. If you select Sequence > Render Audio, does the waveform return? If it does, that would suggest some kind of mixdown is happening inside the remixed clip.

Okay, I'll try this method. There's just one thing—if I make changes, will I have to re-render it every time? And will I end up with dozens of audio files afterward?) That's kind of how it works with video. But I could be wrong.I've had this problem for a long time now—across different versions, with different files, audio, and proxies. In 8 out of 10 projects, the Weyform disappears. I've gotten used to it this is normal for Premiere.

Just to clarify, I'm not suggesting Sequence > Render Audio as a solution. It's a quick test to help pinpoint what's causing the issue.
