When i double click a bin in my window it opens another window instead of making a g it a tab

@alberto_6727 check in preferences > General > Bins and you can set your preferred behavior for when you double click on a bin. Either that got changed, or perhaps you were holding down Alt/Opt which makes it open in a new window.
