When I re-open a premiere project, it takes all of the cuts I made and starts the video over

I was working on some social media videos at work and when I opened the project again, all of the clips that I had cut from the original video had been set to start at the beginning? Now instead of the clip having a lot of jump cuts in it like I intended, it just plays the clip and then cuts back to the beginning of the clip over and over again. I already rendered these videos which is an incredible relief, but I want to try and avoid this issue coming forward.

@Sami Succar I have already tried those solutions and read that posts but it doesn't work. Also, it would be nice to not workaround problems but actually solve them...

Especially if you want to use the version they said you have to downgrade the file, the XML doesn't work, also i can't put it in it's original place as I am using a server so it's already in its original file.

I really don't want to do this everytime I am working on a client projects or switching computer to work...

But thank you for your help, unfortunately it doesn't change anything.
