When I Use Ease Out To Ease In , At The Beginning And End Of A Clip It Does Not Work.

I'm going through the Adobe Premiere Pro Classroom In A Book 2022.

I'm learning how to ease in and ease out in Chapter 9, but it's not working. When I right click the beginning keyframe on the scale property, and choose ease out, nothing happens. Also, when I right click the last keyframe on the scale property, and choose ease in nothing happens. The keyframes are from the beginning to the end of a clip. The line is supposed to curve after the effects have been applied, but the line stays straight, as if it is a linear interpolation.

Do you know if it doesn't work because, my computer either has an unsupported video driver, or my video needs an unsupported video driver. I did not understand which one it was from the message.

I deleted my old file, and started with a fresh new Chapter 9 file, then I got it to work. For the 1st file I was working on. I probably had to make changes applied, and my undos, probably did not work well.

I tend to use Ease out at the start of a transition and Ease in at the end. However you can open up the keyframe view and modify the curve, time to complete for both to get the state transition exactly how you wish.

Wow, so why does the adobe Premiere pro classroom in a book 2022, say that you just need to right click the keyframe and select ease in or ease out. Thank you for your response.

Just putting ease out/in on the scale propertie does not produce a curve. It eases out at the beginning and eases in at the end.

If you want to see a curve you need to set keyframes for position and adjust the handels or set keyframes in between.

Really? The adobe Premiere pro classroom in a book 2022 does not say all of that just the scale property. So, was it changed for the 2024 version or 2023 version.
