When is Adobe supporting ARRI HDE/.arx workflows?

I'm a DP and colorist shooting on the Arri Alexa MiniLF for the most of my work. Myself and the production companies I work with all want to use the HDE workflow but Premiere still has no support. It's frustrating that there's no info out there and the Adobe still has no support. Anyone know if this is coming or when it's coming?

    Hi all, 

     

    We are working on adding support for ARRIRAW HDE, as we know how important this format is for ARRI customers. We are planning on adding this support before the end of 2024.

        Hello, stumbled upon this as we are in the same boat now. A DP wants to shoot raw but we'd like to keep filesizes as compact as possible as it's a big project. It seems there is still no HDE support. Hopefully this will be considered soon.

        Hello, I have the same issue here. Would be great to hear from Adobe as to whether we can expect support for HDE soon.

        Thanks for the message. This is a user-to-user forum so we don't have any info about the product team's plan. Perhaps @Fergus Kousha has a comment. I hope that you can find a good workflow moving forward ASAP.

        Thanks for your reply @Kevin-Monahan . Fergus hasne't left a reply on this issue.

         

        Do you have an email address I can contact for support? I've tried using live chat but I get a message saying I need to get the memeber of my orgnazition whos the designated contact for Adobe to get in touch - she is away on Annual Leave for a while. Is there really no other way of getting in touch with Adobe than that?

          Hi @James Kilpatrick DOP,

          Sorry for the lack of a reply. I don't think support can help you work out a workflow that doesn't yet support these files. You may need a third-party app to assist you. See this thread, which may have better info on how to approach a workflow using Premiere Pro. I hope it helps.
