When missing fonts are replaced, does the replacement overwrite the original font family on new saves?
Minor issue here, but I am curious. To clarify my question, I am color correcting a project file that was edited primarily on my partner's computer. I have offlined some missing media and I am missing some font families, none of which are essential to the coloring process. Heres the scenario I am reading in my Events list that arose my curiosity:
Invalid font family: Go Faster, replaced by: Courier
My question is, when premiere replaces a font family with Courier, will the original font family, "Go Faster", still be preserved in the new version of the project I will save once done coloring. Essentially, does the replacement overwrite the original, or does it just substitute temporarily on my computer? Will my partner have to reselect "Go Faster" for his titles just because I didn't have the font family on my drive.
Rather silly question, answer if you please, unless your answer is, "just download Go Faster." I'm more curious how Premiere handles this function and less how to solve this specific problem. Thanks.
