when opening Premiere it starts automatically refresh and update all audio peaks of already existing and analysed project. How to set it disable and not to wait some time for the same old step. why should I stuck at the beggining of editing? I don’t need Premiere to automatically updating audio peaks

What do you have problem with, re-generated audio peaks or relinking media? I don´t understand the language on the screen dump so i cannot see what it says.

If Premiere re-generates audio peaks every time you open the project there can be a solution, if it is relinking media that´s the way Premiere works and there is not much one can do since it happen every time one open a projects. Just let Premiere do it´s thing.

I don´t see the same thing here, iow that in V26 it takes much longer than in V25 when i open projects. Three things may solve the issue for you. The first two would be resetting the Preferences, the second clearing the media cache.

Hold the shift key when launcing Premiere to get the Reset options dialog you can see below. Check Reset app preferences and Clear media cache files and click on Continue. When you open the project it will take some time since those files will be re-created but when it´s done, close the project and open it again so Premiere only have to relink the media.

If that didn´t solve anything, create a brand new project and import the old project into the new one.

Try it and see how it goes! :)

That is common tip for premier bugs, but it didn’t work at all. They fix something but eventually in newer versions another bugs come out.

I really don’t get it, why should I have to pay for a bugged software

    Hi Kirill5D22,

Welcome to the community! To disable automatic waveform generation in Premiere, go to Edit > Preferences > Audio (Windows) or Premiere > Settings > Audio (macOS) & uncheck the option labelled Generate waveforms automatically during import. Let us know if it helps.

    Thanks,
