When the program panel is full screen and you try to leave a text box, it's not possible

When you make the program panel in your timeline fullscreen and you are working with text, when using the shortkey to minimalize it again, you will see the shortkey in the text, so it’s not possible to minimalize the fullscreen without resetting the workspace. This is happening in a lot of versions already.

Current version: 26.0.1
Macos: Sequoia 15.5 - M1 max

    I just want to make sure, when you say ‘Full Screen’ do you mean from the Accent Key  (~) or from the ‘two opposing arrows’ on the top right of the PP UI.

    @MyerPj,

    I did not think of that. And yes, there is a shortcut: Ctrl+` to Toggle Maximize Monitor.

    I looked at the various commands available, and thought there might be other workarounds. But Toggle Maximize Monitor/Full Screen Video does not allow you to edit text in that screen. And the Shft+` types a character, so can’t be used while in text edit mode.

    @Jarah Gartener,

    You can also just click outside the text box to exit and keep your changes.

    If you want to stay in text edit mode, you can assign a shortcut that does not type a character, instead of, or in addition to, the regular shortcut.

    Hi @Jarah Gartener
    After you have written in the text you want, if you hit the escape key, it will confirm the work you have done with the text and exit he editing mode. Then you should be able to press the accent key to exit the full-screen program panel mode. If that does not work, let me know.
    Here to help.
