Question

When using titles on video clips, export quality is degraded

Can't pinpoint any tutorial that addresses this issue, but if anyone has a link I'm ready for it.

Briefly, when exporting a project, the portion of the video that has titles added renders poorly with lines running horizontally thru it. Titles over images render fine, and other portions of the video clips render fine.

I also noticed the same issue when I tried adding a transition (fade out) to a clip. It faded but lines appeared in the clip section where the transition was added.

Any insight is appreciated.

try switching the renderer to software only, does the issue persist ?

if yes, then we need more details:

01. what format are you exporting to? export settings

02. what kind of text are you working with? mogrts, graphics, etc...

03. some screenshots of your workflow would be great

04. your system specs

05. exporting from premiere pro or media encoder?

06. any effects, presets or plugins applied?

07. belnding modes ? nested text, nested sequences, scaled nested text.. etc... screenshots please

as a side test, if you are exporting to H.264, try Quicktime GoPro Cineform
