Where my projects gone?

When I work on two computers, my projects always disappear. How can I get them back? They are located in the One Drive folder (Windows 10-11)

OneDrive takes control of all the file headers, and routinely scans them and adds additional metadata to the file header so it can track when to sync. That data confuses NLEs like Premiere, which check the data to ensure they are working with the correct file.

Plus OneDrive quite often can refuse Premiere rights to modify a file ... so that means the stuff you do to it isn’t actually saved to the file correctly.

So do NOT use working folders that OneDrive even knows they exist. You may get by for awhile, but at some point you may have big troubles. I speak from nasty personal experience with that horrible application.

Where is the best place to store your files? Which folder do you use when working on two computers and file synchronisation is important?

OneDrive is grand for backup but not for editing.

then why does Adobe save its files to One Drive by default? Do you think the program developers did this on purpose to create problems for us?

I have only one problem - missing projects. Perhaps you know which folder is responsible for saving projects?
