Question

Where's my project/sequence?

For the life of me I can't figure this out.

Work on a sequence. Saved.

Go back make changes save.

Next day, Where did it go?

For some projects I discovered the autosave folder which has been helpful but not today.

What am I doing wrong?

Is the project file on an external drive?

so what is missing is the sequence or the newest version of the project? can you check in finder/explorer when was the last time this project was modified? does it make sense?

Please include a few pictures of what happened, so we have a visual reference.

Thanks.

You of course have named your sequence and it is 'stored' in a bin in your Project panel ... and it disappeared from the project panel?

I have not stored sequence in a bin.
But yes sequence is named.
I go back to open project and when I do there’s an older version but not the one I made all changes to. I saved it but it’s no longer anywhere. Even when I open auto saved files. It’s just gone. This keeps happening and I’m not sure what I am doing wrong. New to premiere came from FCPX.
