hi

i need to encode a video and i want to encode with adobe media encoder

i want to play on a friend's television via usb stick , this tv doesn't play mp4 (264 video)

but seeing it plays xvid video ,which encode should i use?

is MPEG2 close to xvid for quality and compression?

i know MPEG-1 has a better quality and compression then xvid

i have always used 264 & 256 encoder

thanks

You need to check the tv.s manual first to see which codec are supported.
