White symbols/letters in program view, then white screen only

Windows 10, Premiere Pro 2020. When I drag drop or import a media file, and move it to the session, the program/session view screen shows white symbols and letters. Then when I scrub through, the view is only a white screen. Going to Alpha view only reveals the black rectangle that is purposely in the center of the image (it is a split screen image with one image on top and one on bottom). This happens with all different types of the same file: png, jpg, ai file and with completely different image files as well. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, reset preferences during launch, and tried opening the program on 3 different monitors. Even logged in as a different person on same computer without luck. Same issues with After Effects, other Adobe programs seem to be functioning properly. The computer I am working was recently reset, all programs were working well before this.
