Question

Why 980Ti doesn´t use CUDA acceleration, to render clips from Sony cameras?

Hi there,

I'm start doing some edits with clips from Sony and Canon cameras and i just notice that when I'm use "Warp Stabilizer" in the clips from Sony that part of the sequence doesn´t turn yellow, just continuous with red color. Why that? In the Canon clips, changed  from red to yellow because de 980TI do the render.

Look at this print screen, the 691 clip is from Canon and also have the " Warp Stabilizer" effect, however it shows up with yellow color, because the gpu just have doing the render.

I´m using Premiere Pro CC 2017.0.2 release.

Best regards,

To the best of my knowledge, turning CUDA on will work for all accelerated instances.  It's not selective.  You can't use the red and yellow bars to determine whether or not CUDA is active.

Exactly. This only tell me that, the program don´t do the render in Sony clips. I wunder why?

I don't think the red line tells you that at all.  That line is only a guess by PP that it won't be able to play that clip in real time.  That's all it is - a guess.
