Why are markers placed on the timeline not aligned on the various clips?

Basically the title, I clicked "M" with all clips shown selected and this is how premiere placed the markers

Help?

Can you provide more details about the Violet clip?

Is it a merged clip by any chance?
Does it have any speed changes applied?

I don't think It's merged, It's just linked for easy cropping.
There are white rectangles with red text at teh beginning of the clips though, could these be the issue?

Those boxes tell you your clips are 17 frames out of sync.

Right click on box and either move or slip into sync.
