Why can i watch videos and use premiere pro at the same time [Windows]

hey all 

 

Since the new windows update everytime i am editing something in pr and want to watch a toutial on how to do something it doesnt allow me to watch and says "Audio Renderer Error" ive tried all my browers (Chrome , Brave and firefox) and none of them seem to let me . 

I can watch stuff when i close down pr. Please help

    Hi there,

     

    Thanks for reaching out. I agree with @BrandedChannels. 

    Configuring unsuitable audio card driver for the audio hardware can cause this issue. You can go to Premiere Pro Preferences > Audio Hardware and change Device Class to MME.

    Apparently, your audio hardware is locked for use by PPro. Please check the settings in preferences, or go to the hardware settings of your audio card.
