Why can't I put jpg files in my premiere pro?

I tried everything they say on the internet and still the app wont let me drag the pictures in.

Did you try and drag all the way to the timeline, halfway will give a no-no sign.

Open in Source monitor first.

When I try to open in source monitor it doesnt show the picture.

And tried to drag all way. It says I cant all way through

Make new project and start over.

Also tried to uninstall and install back

I don't know if your JPG files are from a zip folder, but that was my problem. I just dragged them out of the folder and then it worked.
