Why does audio track lose quality in Sequence?

Why does part of the audio track in a squence lose it’s quality within a sequence after I open it again in Adobe Premiere Pro? How do I resolve this issue?

Try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

Thanks. The issue resolved itself after I started using a Mac. What would that preference do?

I have another question. Somtimes when I use ehance audio, it eliminates part of the audio where a word was spoken. Any suggestions on correcting that problem?
