Why does inported Video needs to be rendered on PP2019?

We have been running PP2018cc and are in the process of switching across to PP2019.

Our workflow has been to import H264 files from our Tricaster and then dump them onto a blank sequence.

The sequence would then go yellow indicating no rendering was required. (The sequence would be created with the correct settings for the file)

Why is it that when this same process is followed in PP2019, the red bar comes up indicating that a render is required?
