why is my time line video cropped when the imported video is not?

My video is 1280 x 1088 and in preview its not cropped, but in the composite output window it is cropped at the top,

I don`t think I am zoomed in...

my overlay graphic is 1280 x 720 but this hasnt caused a problem in previous videos i`ve just edited with that graphic animation on top.

I fixed it by creating a new comp in AE with the correct ratio for dimensions for my mographics, then imported that back into premiere, now its working...
