Question

Why is Premiere CC 2017 not allowing for CUDA acceleration rendering?

My Windows 10 PRO using NVIDIA GTX960 rendered quickly using Premiere CC 2015, but same setting now take extremely longer and first time I used it it tells me acceleration (video card) is not working. I have latest updated NVIDIA drivers but to no avail. Thinking of trying to reinstall CC 2015 and see if my acceleration comes back in. What is recommended? I am using Intel Core I7-6700K CPU@4.00Ghz. Should be plenty fast, yes? It was for CC 2015 anyway. (NVIDIA Driver version 375.70 - the latest now)

Mine drops out occasionally as well.  Restarting PP usually corrects the issue.

Since updating to Premiere 2017, Cuda not working Premier crashing and stops responding.  Tried changing the drivers for my Quadro 4000.  I have 48 GB memory, duel processers. using a HP Z800 workstation.

    Any help with this Adobe?

    Hi Mayanland.

I have a similar setup but my Driver is much older - 372.54 and I have no issues with Cuda. In fact with the latest version of CC my graphics card runs near 99% most of the time on this given project.

Not much help other than the Video driver version.
