Hi!
Yesterday i rendered a project which had a XX.mp3 as music. Yet when the result became an older version of XX.mp3.
And im wondering how that can happen, while in the project everything is fine yet after render i get an old version of the XX.mp3

(Not i used the replace media in the projects. This problem also appeared when I alt+drag file to a clip in the timeline. After rendering 3 weeks later suddenly it bumped back to the old one)

Instead of using an .mp3 file, convert that to a .wav file.  If you ever need to make changes to the audio file, create a new one with a different name.

If by rendering you mean rendering the timeline and not exporting, try deleting the media cache and media cache files and see if it renders properly.
