Question

Why is there no keyboard shortcut for cutting clips up on the timeline

My good friend Nick was telling me, when he was learning Adobe, his frustration with Premiere for not having a keyboard shortcut for cutting clips on the timeline, instead of using the cut tool, there are some programs that he has used in the past that give you a keyboard shortcut to cut clips right where the play head is. So I got to thinking, why doesn't Adobe make a keyboard shortcut that can do the same, cut all the clips on the timeline, or just the highlighted clips, two separate shortcuts, one to cut all the clips on the timeline where the playhead currently is, and another shortcut to cut the highlighted clip where the playhead currently is, I think that would really help streamline my workflow, not sure about any one else....

Now I see after posting this that someone else already found a solution...
