Why need search in Graphics Templates? it never finds anything, why reward the interface with a non-working option?

I just tried it here too, and it seems to be working in 25.1.

You do have to press enter after you type the search string.

This is an excellent callout that enter needs to be used to get the search to happen. It's different in the Project panel.

I'm going to take this back to the team and see if we can make the GTP work the same.

That would be good, Theresa ... either way, a consistent behavior is normally better than not.

And thanks again for being here.

It does here ... I wonder why it doesn't on yours?

Do you even have a template with the name youtube in it? If not, no hits.

I tried to search for youtube in Pr 25.1 and did not get any result either, but that´s because i don´t have a template with the name youtube in it so that was a pretty obvious outcome. If i for example search for overlay i get many hits.

Hi @Paul_Gringo,

The search bar can be used to search the title of your mogrts in the Graphics Templates panel. Also, if you add keywords at mogrt export, those keywords are searchable within that search bar.

Hi @Paul_Gringo,

Sorry to hear you've encountered what seems like very bug-like behavior! If you're able to share some information, I hope we can figure out what's going on:

  • Premiere Pro version number

  • Operating system and version number

  • A video of Premiere Pro that shows your workflow and the issue happening

Thanks!
Theresa
