Why ripple trim previous edit to playhead responses slower than next edit to playhead ?

whenever i use 'W' for next edit to playhead, it works fine for me

But 'Q' which i use for 'ripple trim previous edit to playhead' always responsing a little slower as it takes 1 or 1.5 seconds to trim
