Why sequence markers move when I move clips in a timeline?

Whenever I insert some video clip on a timeline, the SEQUENCE markers that I had added before move to the new place on a time ruler instead of remaining in the same position where I assigned them to. So, is there a way for them NOT to move whenever I insert a certain clip on a timeline?
