Why unload source panel when closing source timeline?

Please let me close source timelines without removing them from the source window.

Have reset prefs, used commands direct (rather than keyboard shortcut) and still happens on my Mac Book Air.... Will try at work today...

I'm not getting that either. It stays open in source monitor.

Cannot reproduce: in 24.1 or 24.2

I'm using a SOURCE sequence in the source monitor and viewing it in the timeline as SOURCE (source monitor).

Sometimes I want to close the SOURCE (source monitor) but that always unloads it in the source monitor at the same time.
