Have reset prefs, used commands direct (rather than keyboard shortcut) and still happens on my Mac Book Air.... Will try at work today...

I'm not getting that either. It stays open in source monitor.

    Cannot reproduce: in 24.1 or 24.2

      Are you on a Mac? I've seen this forever on Macs. Pretty sure on PC too.

      I'm totally puzzled by this ... what are you doing, and what do you want to happen? A bit more explanation would help.

      I'm using a SOURCE sequence in the source monitor and viewing it in the timeline as SOURCE (source monitor).

      Sometimes I want to close the SOURCE (source monitor) but that always unloads it in the source monitor at the same time.
