Why would I need to File/New/Adjustment Layer many times in Adobe Premiere CC?

Hello everyone,

Some stupid question popped up in my mind.

Mind that I am not asking "why would I put multiple Adjustment layers on the timeline".

My question is "why would I need to go to File/New/Adjustment Layer many times?"

I am not trolling here, I just wanna understand if there is anything I am missing and having 2+ layers gives me anything useful.

There are many things that can be better applied in layers, and need say masks or something where you can use one per layer.

 

Or separate color correction steps in named layers.

    After you've added an adjustment layer once, it's in a bin. Drag/drop that for additional ALs on a sequence.

    I know that, sir. The thing is that I can create many of those and they all will be in the bin. My question is why do I have this option of creating many of them — is there any purpose of that?
