Question

SMPTE has ratified the ST-428-24 packed frames standard for cinema delivery

Many applications are now supporting this new varient of jpeg.

Studios have started delivering this format and now post houses need to be able to support it in our pipelines.

Will Premiere Pro and other adobe applications be able to open these files natively?

Is this on the product roadmap?

It's hard to know if something will be implemented directly, require a third-party plugin (similar to Wraptor DCP), or require using a seprate application entirely.

This may get more attention if posted in the Ideas category, but I've upvoted it here anyway.
