So will a new pc/laptop with windows 10 run and install Premier Pro CS6?

I need a new rig and think its wild and mental that CS6 might not install.

I have the production premium package so it includes many applications - I just want to know if they will install on a windows 10 rig?

^^^ that is taken from Adobe's 'cs6' help section so I dont have much hope.....

surely they have enough manpower to test cs6 on windows 10? and provide some sort of solution other than 'hoping it will work' or upgrading to CC

CS6 is an old version and is no longer supported.

Hi Rovingfilmer,

Performance of Premiere Pro CS6 is optimized for Windows 7, Windows 8 & Windows 8.1

It is not tested with Windows 10 and it is not officially supported on Windows 10.

I would advise you to install any of the supported operating systems on your new rig.

Why have Adobe made it such a PAIN for people to install physical copies of PP on new rigs. So annoying and I see no point in upgrading from cs6 at this point in time at all. Especially for a yearly subscription service.

Adobe didn't do that. Operating system changes have caused the incompatibilities.
