Hello,

I will be working on a video project next month and need some help with the file management workflow.

My Adobe Creative Cloud will be activated on two machines -- I have an office workstation with an external hardrive and a home office computer again with an external hard drive. I have a backup drive that I plan to use to sync the two external drives. Both will have Premiere Pro on them.

1. Syncing project files and working in two locations

I would like to be able to share Premier Pro project files between computers via the Cloud and access local files on each hard drive.

Is this possible?

2. Langauge on each machine

When I'm at the Office, I will be working in Portuguese (my collaborators there only speak portugese). But when at my home office, I would like the software interface to be in English.

Is this possible?

1. I have done that before and that works. Just please make sure that the directory and file structure and names remain identical on both. You will also have to re-render things, as those files are generated locally.

I have earlier used another cloud service for the .prproj files, but i see no reason why it shouldNT work on creative cloud.

Just make sure that your render files folder, (the preview folders and so on) are targeted to the eXternal drives.

I was once working of the cloud and the preview folders won't work.

The better way would be to copy the project onto the local eXternal hard disk.

It might seem more work, but I think it's safer.

(though you have to see as to how many times you need to do that transfer between the systems)

Please do make sure the file names, directories and so on are identical.

I generally like to copy from one disk to the other as is, to make sure of that.

(I like to play it safe, and take out XMLs and back up projects elsewhere periodically, just in case)
