Working with large files
Hi everyone. I made a wedding video for a client, and they wanted all the speeches and the entire thing filmed. There are actually 2 huge files of 1.5GB and 2.96GB respectively. I need to know the best way to give these to the client. I tried sending a link to Dropbox but it just loads endlessly. worry that if their download speed is anything like mine it will take too long and could get interrupted. ...let alone the time it takes me to upload the link...I could also try uploading to my MailBigFile Pro account but I'm not sure about the time it will take to upload...(maybe my speeds are too slow)
Should I try putting on a USB and posting it to them? I heard that the USB needs to be formatted in a certain way...
I know this question is not about Adobe Premiere Pro as such, but I do use it for all my video work. What do you guys do in this sort of situation? Suggestions appreciated. Also are these kinds of file sizes something you see quite often.? If you video a long event do you get these sizes, or am I going wrong somewhere? Obviously I don't want to downscale unless I have to. Help!!
