Working with Productions - Clip Markers
I recently started working on a show and this is my first time using Productions. We WILL have shared storage between the three editors but until that is up and running, I want to be able to get myself and one of the other editors logging footage.
At this point, nothing will be done in a sequence so most of the work will be done at the clip level with adding markers, etc. I have all of the media in a sinlge project within the Production and I have made merged clips syncing the camera and sound. These are the clips we will use for editing. We also have a mirrored drive for both computers and are sharing the Production via Dropbox.
My instinct is to make projects, within the Production for each day of shooting and each editor can add clip markers for the day they are working on.
Does this workflow make sense? I'm not even sure if I am explaining this right. I just want to get things moving until the shared storage is working.
