Workplace presets are not saved correctly

I save my preset settings, but when I load them, the window layout gets messed up—some windows just don’t show up, and my workspace is in chaos. The saving feature isn’t working properly; when I try to load the preset, Adobe rearranges the windows however it wants and closes many tabs. Where’s the logic in that? Who let this happen? I thought that if I saved the window layout, I’d be able to restore it when I restart. Isn’t that how it’s supposed to work? Why close windows or hide them completely? There’s no logic to this.

    Hey Paul,

Thanks for the post. Yes, a saved custom workspace should allow you to return to the panel layout you saved.

After arranging your panels, use Window > Workspaces > Save as New Workspace. If the layout later changes, choose Window > Workspaces > Reset to Saved Layout to restore it.

If Reset to Saved Layout does not restore the workspace correctly, please let us know your exact Premiere version, operating system, and whether you're using one or multiple monitors. A short screen recording showing the workspace before saving and after restoring it would also be helpful.
