Wrong timecode and mode on export
I wanted to ask other editors about having issues with exported Quicktime files having the wrong timecode. I've encountered this enough times to see if it's something of a known issue. I am currently using the latest version of Premiere Pro and Windows 10. I am exporting films for PBS and have done dozens of exports like this. I'm being flagged during tech eval for PBS for the wrong timecode. "Not starting at 1:00:00:00 and not drop-frame". Yet my sequence IS set to start at 1:00:00:00 and dropframe in settings. So when I export, I am using Quicktime Pro Res and it's set to match the sequence settings. I don't have Metadata turned on. So it's not forcing it to change the timecode on export. Yet the MOV is exporting with 00:00:00 and non-dropframe timecode for the MOV. I did not do extensive testing, but it's apparent either I'm doing something wrong, or it's not working as indicated. If I DO use Metadata on export and set the timecode in the dialog to 1;00;00;00 (there is no dropframe selection in the dialog just the timecode) it works and the file then has the proper timecode and mode.
