Xiaomi 12 pro footage acts weird

Hi everyone.

I recently got myself an Xiaomi 12pro as it was praised for its excellent camera. Now that I did some videos on it and worked on rush mobile, everything went perfect. However if I use Adobe premiere on my Mac, the footage is all glitch. I can't figure out what's up with that. Doesn't matter if it's shot in 1080 or 8k it has all the same glitches. Even when using Proxy. Please advice. Lost ours already. Video for reference

Correct answer Ann Bens

Footage is variable framerate, most likely the cause.

Convert to an edit friendly codec such as Prores and set it to constant framerate.

Do not use AME but Shutter Encoder

Handbrake is also a great option for that

Just had the same problem with the xiaomi 12, I was wondering why it was so bugged in the preview window, and even after rendering. Never happened to me with previous phones, it's kinda annoying

Thank you for the advice, the converter works like a charm ! I'm on PC so I picked H.264 and it is perfect to work with mp4 footage
