Mac sierra 10.12.6

Premiere pro 2018 12.0.1

hello

I have a xml from Davinci resolve. I can't open it in  in Premiere in my personal session but I try it in root and it works fine.

I uninstall with the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool. It stays some more additional adobe file here and there. I deleted every single adobe file in the system , even the hidden one. I reinstall only Premiere . The problem is still there.

I check the authorization in the home session I have system read and write, wheel: read and write

I have no plug in Premiere.

I try to move the folder with the Xml and video File in different hard drive.

The authorization in the xml file look good. Same than my user session.

Do I have to apply a root authorization in my user session?

I don't understand . It's not logical.

Is premiere use an other tool to utilise xml. Like a dynamic link ?

I have no more clue.

Thank you for help.

Alex

I think XML import is not working correctly in PPRo 12.0.1. I've had no success with it. You might try to import the XML in an earlier version of Premiere Pro, then save it as a .prproj from there to open in PPRo 12.0.1.

If what I've done to continue working. I gone in the root session. Open the fille successfully and then export it .prproj and than re-open it in my session. I remember that opening a xml was possible last week. I try it with a macbook with the premiere on it an it wooks too.

    it's a good temporary possibility.
