Question

XYZ Color Conversion in Premiere

Hello, I deal with a lot of JPEG2000 sequences wrapped in a mxf. They're mostly come from DCPs and are in the XYZ color space. Whenever I bring these clips into premiere, the program automatically converts the color space. Due to the lack of color management in Premiere I have no idea what is being done to achieve it's conversion. Some of the colors and luminance looks inaccurate to the original source. How do I figure out what premiere is doing to my clips? I would like to know so I can reverse it and and control the color myself. If there is a solution to get premiere to stop converting my color spaces, that would be super helpful as well.

I am having the same issue. Did you ever learn anything about this colorspace interpretation?
