Yamaha DM3 DAW-mode in Premiere Pro?

Hello folks,

 

has anyone successfully connected a Yamaha DM3 audio mixer in DAW-mode to Premiere Pro?

I am using Premiere V25.1 and tried to connect the Yamaha DM3 to act as a fader controller via USB. The DM3 shows up in the preferences panel->fader controllers via the mackie protocol and shows "connected" for some seconds but then loses the connection. Also no faders move at the DM3.

    Hi Florian,

    Thanks for the question. Try this: Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for the mixer. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause connectivity issues. See if resetting preferences would help. Finally, try different cables or ports. Let us know if any of these suggestions works.
