Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers
Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter
Also check (copied link) https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html
.
nVidia Driver Downloads https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
-for all Adobe programs use the STUDIO driver, not the GAMING driver
-To achieve the highest level of reliability, Studio Drivers undergo extensive
-testing against multi-app creator workflows and multiple revisions of the top
-creative applications from Adobe to Autodesk and beyond
.
If you have a laptop you MAY also need to check for a laptop specific nVidia driver
-SOME laptops require an approved driver from the laptop company, not nVidia

No updates needed

In case you haven't noticed, no one else is getting this. Therefore logic indicates something is wrong on your computer.

We can help troubleshoot that with you. We are volunteering our time to do so.

But if you don't supply data, no one can help you. Period. That's the nature of troubleshooting ... it needs data to even start the process.

So ... as always with troubleshooting issues ... OS/CPU/RAM/GPU/GPU driver version number. The type of media you work with is also needed. The format/codec, framesize/framerate, and created by what device.

Give that much, we can start to help you.

Everyone's mileage always varies ...

Hey Paul,

Sorry for the issue. Could you let us know if you see any error codes or messages? Please share if you're using a Windows or a MacOS system and which version of Premiere Pro you're using.

Thanks,

Ishan

have Windows. A black screen appears and I can't do anything, nothing works. Only the Reset button on the computer helps. Versions of all programs are the latest
