Hi guys,

I have a general question. How do you edit dynamic advertisements?

For example: A person is speaking to the camera with a short text behind them -> Zoom in on the left side. New text (typewriter effect) moves to the right side, new text appears letter by letter, zoom out, and so on.

In my case, I work in Premiere Pro; it's easier to work with soundframes. But from time to time, especially for animated text or Roto Brush, I cut the part and switch to After Effects.

How do you handle this kind of work?

Hi @svens82,

Yes, I also choose After Effects for such tasks. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi @Kevin-Monahan

I have some problems with my workflow, especially for high dynamic or music videos. My workflow is that I start in Pr, and if there's a need for a special effect, I cut that part and switch to Ae to create the special text or effect. However, I think it would be easier to work entirely in Ae. In Ae, I have many plugins, but creating a music video there is challenging. There's a sound lag, and it doesn't look good. Premiere Pro is much easier in this regard. So my problem is that it's easier and better to work in Pr, but for special effects, motion graphics, and text, Ae would be the better choice.

So, how do you manage your workflow? Do you complete your work in Ae, or do you also switch between the two programs?
