Question

Zooming in and fixing a layer to a particular point

Hi

Clip 1 - contains footage that zooms into a subject.

Clip 2 is a CGI image that belongs in a particular place on Clip 1.

As clip 1 zooms in the clip 2 jutters and moves around the screen. Is there a way that I can attach the corners of clip 1 to a particular area in Clip 1 and the image adjusts its proportions accordingly?

Thanks

I think After Effects 3D Camera Tracker is what you need here.

It is not clear to me what you are trying to do. Is the CGI supposed to appear fixed to the background Clip 1? Is the CGI clip sitting above the background clip on the timeline?

Did you try Nesting the clips and then doing the zoom on the nest?

Or are you having some other kind of problem? A screen recording of the problem would help.
